Another school year is upon us and a big part of the beginning of school is completing the necessary paperwork for your children. Completing the free and reduced lunch eligibility form is an important one and we ask all parents complete it to start the year. 

It is easy to complete. The application is on PaySchools, which many already use. The application is simple and easy. The PaySchools site can also be accessed through our district website or by clicking here: https://payschoolscentral.com/ Instructions on how to complete the application are seen after this letter.

It could provide free breakfast and lunch for your child. The income guidelines change every year and you may be eligible for the free meals, and you did not even know it.

It could reduce your school fees. If a student is eligible for free meals, you may not need to pay his/her school fees.

It helps our Sheffield Schools funding. Federal Title finds are associated with our free and reduced lunch percentages. The district could receive more money from the federal government, allowing for greater resources for our students and their learning.
